Powerful Powertrain Options
The newly re-designed Explorer is available in several trim levels, with powertrain options ranging from the surprisingly powerful, yet efficient, 2.3-liter EcoBoost® turbocharged four-cylinder, to the 400-horsepower V6 EcoBoost®, to the new hybrid option. De Pere drivers will appreciate passing the pump in the rear-wheel-drive hybrid that can drive an estimated 500 miles on a single tank of gas.
The Ford Explorer's three-row seating for seven and ample cargo capacity are just the beginning. The optional Class III Trailer Tow Package will come in handy for Luxemburg drivers looking to take the boat out to Green Bay. The integrated wiring and hitch are rated to tow upwards of 5,000 pounds.
Advanced Technology
The new Explorer is more than just a reliable workhorse, it's also a comfortable environment for running errands around the Two Rivers area. It comes standard with an uncluttered 8-inch digital touchscreen display that easily allows driver and passenger to navigate apps and navigation. The available 12.3-inch digital instrument panel cluster allows Kaukauna drivers to customize what driving information gets displayed.
SYNC® 3 with Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility are also standard, as is Ford's own FordPass Connect™, which allows up to 10 devices to connect to the in-vehicle 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot. Pair that with the optional 14-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system, and you've got some happy campers!
